Summer For a Working Mom

Summer, the most fun and exciting time of the year. A long bucket list of fun filled activities planned, Late night stay over with friends, getting up late, watching summer movies and playing video games. Trips to museums, amusement parks and long road trips. Definition of exciting summer vacation changes as soon as one becomes a parent. Fun changes into worry and excitement turns into responsibility. Especially for a working mom like me, who has a spouse traveling a lot for work, not having a routine for kids as they do during the regular school days makes me anxious. As always, it is a challenging to organize the schedule with the right kind of activities within the budget to keep the kids busy yet entertained at the same time. With a lot of different routines and schedules, it is important to keep track of my time and organize the target goals for a day so that I don’t lose track of time or miss anything.
